On November 7, 2017, an information security seminar was held at the University of Tsukuba Hall, which was held at the 11th University of Tsukuba FD Workshop in Heisei 29, as well as a study group for business practitioners of administrative staff.

At this year’s seminar, Taichi Tomisaki of Adobe Systems Co., Ltd. gave a lecture titled “PDF and Security (Not to Leak Information)” as part of this year’s seminar, and 138 participants gathered.

As part two, 163 participants gathered for a lecture titled “Trends and Countermeasures for Security Incidents” by Masashi Fujiwara of Hitachi, Ltd.

Students commented that “information on effective use and security of PDFs was very useful”, and “it was easy to understand a number of specific examples of security incident trends.” It was a meaningful opportunity to gain knowledge of information security and to raise awareness.
